What is needed for a registered dietitian?
Future skills.
A registered dietitian is someone who supports people with illnesses and promotes good health through the provision of nutritious meals. However, in the future, it will be important for people to have a wide range of skills in addition to specialized skills.
We are entering an era in which there is a demand for "distinctive registered dietitians" who have unique characteristics, such as individuality and ability as a result of the ever-accelerating globalization of society and the full-scale introduction of the latest technologies, such as AI.
In order to utilize the skills acquired through study and practical training and become a person who can play an active role as a registered dietitian, students acquire additional skills that are not bound by conventional concepts. This is Faculty of Health and Nutrition at Otemae University.

In addition to cooking sites, we also serve hospitals, clinics, welfare facilities, food manufacturers, government agencies, and other medical, educational, and business environments.
The knowledge and skills of registered dietitians are in demand in a variety of fields.
