About el-Campus

Otemae University is promoting the use of IT on campus. One of these is "el-Campus" and "OCNET". el-Campus is a comprehensive learning system developed independently by the university that provides strong support for all aspects of student life. OCNET is the collective name for the over 1,000 computers on campus, including the computers that students need to carry, and the network and systems that connect them. Here we will introduce just a few of their functions.

Notification feature

You can also check announcements from the school and classes on your smartphone. You can get real-time information on everything from general information about university life to supplementary information about classes.

Information on class cancellations and make-up classes

At el-Campus, information about class cancellations is instantly sent to the email address you registered, allowing you to efficiently plan your study time.

Teaching material distribution function

Handouts that are normally distributed by teachers during class are now available online. Not only is this useful for preparation, but it also allows you to be sure to get the materials you need even if you are absent.

Assignment submission function

Reports and other class assignments can be submitted over the internet as digital files instead of on paper. They can be accessed from home or on the go.

ePortfolio

Reports submitted at el-Campus will be stored as data until graduation. They can be effectively used to reflect on one's own growth, as materials for graduation research, and to appeal in job hunting.
