[Regional Cooperation] Comprehensive Cooperation Agreement with Ashiya City

On December 16, 2024, Ashiya City, Otemae University, and Otemae College signed a comprehensive partnership agreement covering the following items to promote activities that contribute to regional revitalization through mutual collaboration and cooperation between the city, companies, and organizations, and to contribute to the revitalization of the local community through citizen participation and collaboration and the creation of a community where residents can live in peace. At the signing ceremony held on the same day, Ashiya City Mayor Takashima, Superintendent of Education Nomura, University President Hirano, and Fukui Junior President each spoke of their expectations for the collaboration.

(1) Matters related to regional revitalization
(2) Health promotion
(3) Matters relating to education, research and cultural promotion
(4) Disaster prevention (including disaster response) and crime prevention
(5) Other matters related to regional revitalization

Based on the above five items, Otemae University and Otemae College will continue to collaborate with Ashiya City on various activities in the future.
