[Faculty of Global Nursing] Second-year high school students from Kyoto Seibo Gakuin High School visit our school

On Thursday, December 12th, 19 second-year students from Kyoto Seibo Gakuin High School, who are enrolled in the nursing university preparatory course, visited the Osaka Otemae Campus.
First, Dean Fujii Hiromi gave an explanation about our school's Faculty of Global Nursing, and the high school students listened intently while flipping through pamphlets about the university. Next, Professor Shimizu Jun (Psychiatric Nursing) gave a mock lesson on the theme of "To become a nurse - understanding the social background and applying nursing." He gave a fun explanation of the various ways of thinking and approaches necessary for nursing, and the students thought hard about and answered the questions the professor asked in a quiz format. Afterwards, the 19 students experienced university classes and toured the library, nursing practice room, lecture room, and other facilities on the Osaka Otemae Campus. We believe that they were able to spend a meaningful time imagining their own futures.
