[Government-academia collaboration] We want to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Nishinomiya City Hall!

At Otemae University Civil Service Study Room, volunteers who aspire to become civil servants gather to study for exams and meet with current civil servants. At this year's meeting, students learned that Nishinomiya City will celebrate its 100th anniversary since becoming a city in 2025, and a student project was formed to promote this commemorative event.

The project involved conducting research to strengthen information dissemination in the run up to the 100th anniversary, and planning a social media campaign. On September 17th, the students visited Nishinomiya City Hall to give a presentation and exchange opinions with city hall officials. As part of this project, the students will be sharing the charms of Nishinomiya as discovered by students at the Otemae Festival in November.
