On Saturday, August 17th, the four training participants departed from Kansai International Airport for Auckland, New Zealand.

The students looked excited, excited, and anxious, but each shared their aspirations, such as "I want to go to many places" and "I want to learn about different cultures" during their study abroad. In preparation for the program, the participants attended five pre-departure orientations and prepared for electronic travel authorization, online applications to the host university, placement tests, and various precautions and risk management for travel. They also attended an "Australia Training Report Session" by all students who participated in the Australia training in February 2024, which deepened their preparations for the program and their understanding of different cultures.

This two-week program runs from August 17 to September 1, and aims to foster international awareness through English language training at Waikato University and homestays, as well as through interactions with New Zealand families and exposure to culture. By immersing themselves in a different culture, we hope that they will not only improve their language skills but also have a variety of experiences and grow significantly when they return home.
