[Faculty of Health and Nutrition] Participated in the "Abeno Food Education Festival Vol.10" in Abeno Ward, Osaka City

As Osaka City Healthy Partners, three third-year students and two second-year students Faculty of Health and Nutrition volunteered to participate in food education activities at the "Abeno Food Education Festival Vol. 10" held on Wednesday, July 24th at the Abeno Ward Office in Osaka City.

At Otemae University booth, we participated in the "Experience Corner Food Education Game". We exhibited a "Guess the Vegetable Flower" game, where participants had to guess the flower of a vegetable, and a "Find the Sea Friends and Oddballs" game, where participants had to find vegetables and fruits other than fish and coral in underwater photos, write them on an answer sheet, and then color them in. Both games were enjoyed by participants, with 34 people playing the guess the flower game and 51 people playing the find the oddball game.

We hope that you will take part in these events this year as they will provide a chance for students to gain social experience and to network across grade levels as they aim to become registered dietitians.

This summer, we plan to participate in two food education events in July, including this one, and one in August.
