[Faculty of Global Nursing] Professor Hirosawa participated in the Young and Female Researcher Grant Presentation Ceremony

Yuka Hirosawa, Assistant Professor at Faculty of Global Nursing, was selected to receive the 2024 Young and Female Researchers Encouragement Grant from the Japan Private School Promotion and Mutual Aid Corporation, and participated in the presentation ceremony held at the Hotel Tokyo Garden Palace on Friday, May 17th.
The research theme was "Vietnamese people's awareness of smoking in the prevention of non-communicable diseases." The study will compare the smoking habits of Vietnamese people residing in Japan, whose numbers have been increasing in recent years, with those of Japanese people.
Many of the recipients were researchers from universities other than medical universities, and Professor Hirosawa commented that "interacting with the researchers I met at the presentation ceremony has further increased my motivation for research."
