On Saturday, June 1st, "International Exchange Day" - Let's come together was held at the CELL Forum on the Sakura Shukugawa Campus. This event is held once a year not only as a place for Japanese students and foreigners to interact, but also as an opportunity to understand and respect different cultures.

This year, students from 11 countries, including Japan, participated, with over 120 students participating. Students from each country used creative methods to introduce their home countries through dance, musical instruments, quizzes, fashion shows, and more. There was laughter, emotion, and time for hands-on experience, making it a fulfilling international exchange day. This year, as a first attempt, we held a vote on "which country's presentation was the most memorable," and although it was a close contest between the countries, "The Philippines" came in first place.

[Performances from each country]
Japan: Fashion show
Myanmar: Introduction to dance and Myanmar makeup (Thanaka)
China: Qigong, karate, fashion shows, calligraphy, etc.
Malaysia: A cultural introduction
Philippines: Cultural Introduction and Dance
Mongolia: Culture Introduction and Mongolian Calligraphy
Indonesia: Let's play an instrument
Korea: Cultural Introduction and Quiz
Vietnam: Quiz, introduction to local games
America: Famous American quiz shows
France: Egg Hunting

In the afternoon, we went on a "day trip" by foot to Nishinomiya Shrine and the Hakushika Sake Museum. It was an opportunity for students to leave the university and have fun interacting with each other, and it was an opportunity to get to know Nishinomiya, where our university is located, better.

The planning and management of this event was handled by the international exchange student staff (Team Colors), who made it a very lively event. We will continue to plan international exchange events that allow for fun intercultural understanding and student interaction. Please look forward to Team Colors and international exchange.
