Otemae University and Otemae College will hold an information session including changes to the 2025 entrance examinations.
Additionally, we will be inviting Kenichi Ishihara, who has worked nationally at Sundai Preparatory School, to give a lecture titled "Summary of the 2024 Entrance Examinations and Outlook for the 2025 Entrance Examinations."

We understand that this is a busy time of year, but we hope you will be able to attend.

Looking back at the 2024 entrance exams and how the new curriculum will affect career guidance research and university entrance exams

Lecturer: Kenichi Ishihara

Education journalist and university entrance exam analyst (former head of Sundai University Entrance Information Division)
Born in Osaka City. Graduated from the Faculty of Engineering at Kyoto University.
In April 1981, he joined the Surugadai Preparatory School, a privately-held educational institution.
He has served as a high school graduation class teacher, high school sales manager, Lecturer management, curriculum organization, and Kobe school principal. From 2006, he was in charge of the entrance examination information department at Sundai Preparatory School for 18 years, where he was responsible for disseminating information to various media outlets and giving many lectures at universities and high schools.
He retired in March 2024. Currently, he is using his 43 years of experience at a university entrance exam prep school to work as a freelance education journalist and university entrance exam analyst, doing his best to analyze and communicate the current state and future of high school-university transition, which is at a major crossroads amid a declining birthrate.
