The first National Convention for Promoting Food Education was held 18 years ago in June 2006 at the ATC Hall in Nanko, Osaka Prefecture. Now, 18 years later, the 19th National Convention for Promoting Food Education will be held at the same Nanko ATC Hall on Saturday, June 1st and Sunday, June 2nd of this year.
The theme of the first competition was "Fun meals anytime, anywhere" - breakfast together every day, but the theme of this competition is "Food education for a bright and vibrant future."
As a school that trains registered dietitians, 18 third-year students Faculty of Health and Nutrition will be participating in this event on June 1st.
These 18 students are students who chose the "Social Collaboration Seminar [Health]" course, which will be offered at Faculty of Health and Nutrition from 2024, and are participating in the booth in collaboration with five other universities.
Come and experience what's one step ahead in the food that supports our daily lives.
