Students will work in groups of 4 to 5 to carry out experiments.

A month has passed since the new semester began, and we are now in the dazzling season of fresh greenery.

This time, we will introduce the basic chemistry experiment classes that first-year students who entered this spring will be taking.

First, we will explain in detail how to use the lab equipment and procedures to conduct the experiment safely. Today, we conducted a "titration experiment using the neutralization reaction of an acid and a base."

In class, students will learn how to operate instruments and analytical equipment, how to prepare reagents, and how to analyze experimental data, and will gain a deeper understanding of the chemical substances and characteristics of various food ingredients.

Faculty of Health and Nutrition offers a wide range of practical experiments and classes to help students become highly specialized registered dietitians. Each class is 180 minutes long, so the pace is relaxed and even if you are not familiar with the operations, you can learn from the basics to the applications without any stress.
