A travel plan created by students in the class "Travel Business Theory" (taught by Professor Watanabe and Assistant Professor Suzuki, Faculty of Modern Social Studies) titled "Let's go in search of purple jewels to Habikino, Osaka! - Winter Edition" will be featured in the National Agricultural Cooperative Tourism Association's "Furusato Club News 2025 Winter Edition" and is now accepting submissions.
In June, all students visited Habikino City, split into five groups, worked on creating products, and gave presentations on the final day of class.
The project was reviewed and selected by the lecturers, including Executive Officer Sasagawa of the Tourism Development and Regional Co-creation Department of the Creative Headquarters of Kintetsu Railway Co., Ltd., Managing Director Nishikawa of the Osaka Habikino Tourism Bureau, and Director Nagase and Deputy Director Natani of the National Agricultural Cooperative Tourism Association, and will now be featured as a travel product.
