Special Lecture on International Global Nursing

This course provides an overview of the impact of globalization on health and the globalization of Japanese society, and uses data to Professor about the issues seen in medical and nursing settings. It also uses case studies to clarify the current state of health, welfare, and QOL in a global society where diverse people live, as well as health issues. Through discussions during lectures, students will deepen their consideration of health support, clarify their own research topics, and Professor the knowledge necessary to practice international nursing activities through the actual support activities of nurses in international health activities such as those of JICA.

International Midwifery Seminar

This program includes visits to midwifery practices abroad and some health education for foreign pregnant women who have given their consent. In addition, it includes home visits to facilities and to cases where the mother has given her consent, promoting learning about childbirth and child-rearing customs in multicultural communities and homes. In order to understand reproductive health from a global perspective, it also cultivates a perspective that compares the situation in Japan with that in other countries from the three aspects of administration, education, and clinical practice related to maternal and child health.
