Leadership and problem solving
Masaaki KitamuraProfessor
Master's Degree in Business Management
You will discover your own unique leadership style and be able to enter society with confidence.

This is a class where each student develops their own unique leadership style by working on solving problems faced by companies. For example, in 2023, the two themes were ideas for getting university students involved in the food waste problem and innovation in the hiring process. As you can see, modern companies are faced with challenges where the answer is unclear. That is why everyone needs to demonstrate some kind of leadership. I would like students who want to live their own way, rather than conform to others, and who want to demonstrate leadership and create a better society to take this class.

Introduction to Business Administration
Makoto OhmoriProfessor
Doctor of Business Administration
By focusing on companies and management, students will develop an understanding and insight into society and people.

This course will allow students to acquire basic knowledge about Business Administration and to theoretically understand and analyze how organizations known as corporations and companies manage their businesses in a tough market environment. In addition to introducing Business Administration theory, students will also be made aware of the fun of focusing on corporations and management through case studies. This is an academic field that will develop an interest in modern society from the perspective of corporations and management, and will allow students to develop insight into society, organizations, and people. This course is useful not only for students who aim to become managers in the future, but also for many students who will survive in modern society, so we hope that students from all departments will learn the basics of Business Administration and take flight into society.

Voice

To understand yourself and develop the power to evolve.
Towards dreams and the future
Updating.

Through my studies in the career field, I developed the ability to think with my future vision as the central focus. Group work and collaborations with companies allowed me to practically acquire the communication skills required in business settings. Furthermore, the lectures provided many opportunities to deepen my self-understanding, allowing me to organize my strengths and weaknesses, interests and passions, and enabling me to envision my future based on what I "want to do" rather than what I "might be able to do"—this is a significant growth. My anxiety about job hunting has lessened, and my perspective has broadened, allowing me to become interested in various industries. I believe that a career is not just about qualifications and achievements, but the process itself of thinking about "what values I hold and how I want to live." I feel that the process of understanding myself and evolving is the meaning of learning.

Inspired by the enthusiasm of the local students,
Language skills and motivation to learn improved.

I had always dreamed of studying abroad, and I participated in the Taiwan training program hoping to broaden my horizons through overseas learning. The students I met at the local university were diligent in pursuing their dreams and actively participated in class discussions. Their example inspired me, and I wanted to act with more confidence. There were times when I struggled because of the language barrier, but I realized that communication is possible if there is a willingness to understand each other. Furthermore, I was touched by the warmth and kindness of the Taiwanese people, and I realized the importance of caring for others. Through this experience, my interest in different cultures has grown even stronger, and a new goal has emerged: to improve my language skills and be able to interact with many more people.
