Through learning, in my personal life I want to get to know people deeply.
I was very attracted to the sandbox-making experience at the open campus, and now I, who never showed much interest in anything, am immersed in my studies to become a clinical psychologist at Otemae University. Before I enrolled, I had the impression that psychology was just about assessing people's speech and attitudes, but I learned through three years of experience that it is actually important to specifically explore the causes and backgrounds that lie in places that cannot be seen. Now, my dream is to combine clinical psychology with the nursing care work my parents do to become a counselor who can help many people solve their problems.

In this class, as an introduction to psychology, we will learn about the psychology of the "adolescent" stage, which you all belong to. In class, we will learn about the personality and behavior unique to adolescents, and then we will carry out work to explore the depths of our own personality and behavior using a "psychological scale," a method used in actual psychological research. By objectively analyzing "yourself now," you will be able to understand your strengths and weaknesses and make it easier to think about your future career path. Through this class, you will also be able to understand both your own and others' "minds." Let's deepen our understanding of psychology together, which gives us hints for building good relationships.

Through this experience, students will gain the ability to notice the wide variety of questions and issues that exist in everyday life, and the ability to grasp these issues objectively and logically. These abilities will then help students organize and concretize their interests, forming the foundation for further learning in all academic fields, not just psychology.
