Four-year learning process

- Students will acquire basic knowledge to understand the current situation of the region and the challenges it faces. They will acquire a perspective to learn about the region by actually going out into the town and experiencing society.

Profile of Ebi Sensei
PhD in Economics. Specializes in tourism. After graduating from university, he worked for a newspaper company before going on to graduate school, where he studied the economic theory of consumption. After graduating from graduate school, he expanded his research to tourism, and his current themes are the history of modern leisure and regional studies of the Hanshin area. He is mainly researching the development of amusement parks and the history of entertainment businesses in the Osaka-Hanshin area from the Meiji period to the prewar period. He took up his post at Otemae University in 2020.
