Are you doing it?

好きなものがわからない 学ぶことに興味がない 勉強しんどいな 「発見」することが少ない 知識の詰め込みばっかりで楽しくない

More exciting things than ever before
It might be getting a little less.

What is everyone doing?
I bet he's excited.

The weather has been good since the morning, but somehow
I felt like staying at home and just lazing around.
While playing a familiar game
Time passed, and somehow I found myself on the other side of my smartphone.
About the friends I have and what I'm having for dinner
I'm thinking...
It's a bit extreme, but
Do you just go through your days "just doing whatever"?
What you are lacking is a heart.
I think it’s exciting.
In fact, they may be found in places closer to you than you think.
In your daily life and even in your studies at school.
If you feel something that touches your heart,
Please try and open the door.
There is an intellectual journey, an encounter,
They should be waiting.

To various people
The secret of excitement
I was taught this.

Here are some exciting tips!

Sensitivity and perception (how things and the environment look)
I am also involved in the preparations for the establishment of the Faculty of Information Science at Otemae University in 2027.

SensibilityWhat is that?
竹澤先生
It's a feeling that includes personal preference.
When we hold a stuffed animal, we don't analyze it as being round or furry, but rather feel that it is soft and fluffy, that it is appealing and comforting, that we like it and want it. This intuitive way of perceiving things, including preferences, is sensibility.
受験生
Sensitivity isHow can I do this?
do you understand ?
竹澤先生
If you measure it the right way, it becomes visible
can.
Sensitivity is usually invisible, but it can be measured using psychological surveys and physiological measurements. However, if it is not measured in the correct way, lies and mistakes will be mixed in. At Otemae University, you can learn a lot about how to correctly measure and share sensibility.
受験生
My tastes are different from other people'sThe
Is that not okay?
竹澤先生
No. I have different tastes.
Of course.
There are many things that we are not good at and things that we have come to like through experience. Not everyone has the same things. Knowing what appeals to you and what makes you feel good and facing it will surely lead to happiness.
受験生
It's about facing yourselfLeads to?
竹澤先生
As I learn, I become more objective.
I can see it.
At Otemae University, there are plenty of opportunities to measure your sensibilities through PBL and other activities. This allows you to understand that there are many different people, and that their ways of feeling and values are different. You can also realize that there is no superiority or inferiority in sensibilities, and you can see yourself objectively.

SNS "types"

My students and I conducted a survey and found that there are three types of SNS preferences depending on what people want from SNS. Similar findings have been found for favorite aromas, gummies, sightseeing, etc., and we hope that each of these will be useful.

受験生
a bitUnlike meMaybe...
竹澤先生
There's nothing to worry about.
These three are just a rough division of human sensibilities, so they will not match perfectly. What's important is the differences, and arranging things and the environment to match them will create comfort.

Excitement and thrills through science
The study of"Sensitivity Informatics"

"This song feels good" or "This game is fun!" -- you've probably had those kinds of feelings, right? Sensitivity informatics is a field of study that scientifically digitizes these subjective emotions. Why do we want to "like" a photo? Why do characters resonate with us? We will unravel the mechanisms of how we "feel." It is a notable field of study that is also used to create experiences that appeal to people's sensibilities, such as music and videos that move the heart, and designs that make people want to pick them up.
