Faculty of Architecture & Arts Moving Image / Animation Major
Suzuka Kono
Graduated from Osaka Prefectural Suita Higashi High School - I wanted to work in the film and video industry, but I couldn't find a specific job, so I was lost at the beginning of my job search. Then, when I consulted with Career Support Office, they listened carefully to my strengths and the kind of work I valued, and suggested the job of animation production manager, which became a turning point for me. I had assumed that drawing skills were essential in the animation industry, but it wasn't necessary for production manager. I felt that it perfectly matched my work philosophy—an environment where I could work collaboratively with a team while being involved in something I love—and from then on, I seriously pursued it. To all high school students, it's okay if you don't know what you want to do in the future right now. Just like me, you can use the broad range of learning at this university to discover your strengths, and by utilizing them, you can open up new paths for your future.
