Faculty of Modern Social Studies
Anyway, enjoy your student life.
Let's try various things.
All of that will become nourishment for me.

Department Faculty of Modern Social Studies Psychology
Koshiro Momose
Graduate of Hyogo Prefectural Private Ikuei High School - During my job search, I made an effort to apply to many companies without being too fixated on a particular industry. As a result of attending various company information sessions, I learned a great deal about the diversity of jobs in society and the systems that support our lives. Career Support Office not only provided interview practice and aptitude test preparation, but also continued to offer advice even after I received multiple job offers, which helped me decide on a career path I was happy with. In my future work as a salesperson, I believe that the skills I acquired in Psychology and career design, which I studied as my major, such as document creation and presentation skills, will be directly applicable. To my juniors, I encourage you to make the most of these four special years, choose "regretting doing something rather than regretting not doing it," and challenge yourselves to try many things.
Experiences I had in my seminar
Industry research and
Strategic proposals,
As a sales professional
I want to make the most of it.

Department Faculty of Modern Social Studies Business Management※
*To be reorganized as Faculty of Business Administration in April 2023
Ichika Taniwaki
Graduated from Kansai University of Welfare Science High School, a private high school in Osaka Prefecture. - I had future goals since high school, but I was drawn to this university because it allows me to take courses from other departments, which will help me build a better future. The classes, which involve a lot of group work, gave me an opportunity to change myself, and I was able to utilize the communication skills I honed during my job search. I applied mainly to large companies, so I actively participated in internships and information sessions. I made use of my strong observational skills and approached every action, even outside of interviews, with the awareness that it would be evaluated. I also actively visited Career Support Office, where I received detailed guidance on self-analysis, industry research, and application form revisions, which allowed me to prepare without rushing. I will utilize the experience I gained in industry research and strategic proposals in my seminar when I work in sales at the company where I have received a job offer.
While managing 50 seminar students
We collaborate with company and local government officials.
I'm confident in my ability to make adjustments.

Faculty of Modern Social Studies Tourism Business Major※
* Tourism Management major from April 2025,
Reorganized into the Department of Creating Regional Value
Eiji Tomita
Graduated from Hyogo Prefectural Akashi Nishi High School - As I was solely focused on becoming a civil servant, my job search continued until around October. Balancing seminar activities with exam preparation and interview practice was challenging, but I feel that the information processing skills and efficient work ethic I gained during that process will be invaluable for life. As the leader of a tourism seminar with approximately 50 students, I worked with representatives from local governments and companies to promote the region's attractions, which helped me develop the ability to reconcile diverse perspectives. I also believe that my specialized knowledge of tourism will be valuable in local government work, where we operate with limited staff. Crossover-style classes broadened my perspective and allowed me to view things from multiple angles. I encourage everyone to actively take classes from other departments to broaden their horizons.
