Practical lessons
Cultivate expressiveness.
From basic knowledge about art and expression, you will deepen your expertise through practical formats focusing on film and theater. What is needed to move people's hearts, the challenges of creating as a team and the experience of overcoming them. Come and experience a rich time facing these things that come your way in life.

Express yourself
Let's start by pursuing it.
Expression is "something that is shown on the surface." When you communicate something to someone, words, facial expressions, music, letters, etc. are all expressions. What's more, it's important to think about how the person receiving it will feel. It's a performance for an audience, and I'm often asked, "So, it's no good to be selfish, right?" But it's fine as long as it's attractively selfish. The value of your expression is decided by the other person. First of all, it's important to pursue your own expression wholeheartedly.Masao SeguchiProfessor Bachelor of Arts

In this major, instead of narrowing down to a specific field such as scripts, actors, lighting, or sound, students can learn everything related to theater, and as a culmination of their studies, they can actually perform in a public theater. I think it is also attractive that students can take the initiative in planning and executing paid performances held outside. We students think for ourselves, fail, and succeed. I felt that the school gave us many opportunities to do so. Also, the diversity of people and ways of thinking that we learned in "Psychology" and "PBL Special Exercises" across departments were useful in creating a play as a group.
