Japan Student Services Organization Scholarship

  • There are two types of scholarships.
    Type 1 scholarship (interest-free) and
    There is a second type of scholarship (with interest).
    When the loan ends, both

Monthly tuition: 20,000 yen, 30,000 yen, 40,000 yen, 54,000 yen (for students commuting from home)
Monthly tuition: 20,000 yen, 30,000 yen, 40,000 yen, 50,000 yen, 64,000 yen (for students commuting from outside of their home)

  • Either choice
  • Within the income standards set by the organization.
  • Students with a high school grade point average of 3.5 or higher (first year students)

Second type
Choose your desired monthly amount from 20,000 yen to 120,000 yen (in 10,000 yen increments)

  • Those who President recognizes as having the qualities and abilities to complete their studies with excellent grades.
  • Those who have passed the Senior High School Graduation Equivalency Examination (formerly known as the University Entrance Qualification Examination) and are deemed to be equivalent to the above.

Special additional loans at the time of admission
Choose the amount you want from 100,000 yen, 200,000 yen, 300,000 yen, 400,000 yen, or 500,000 yen

  • It is not possible to apply only for the Special Increased Loan at the Time of Admission.
  • Those whose "certified income amount" under the household standard at the time of application is 0 yen or less, or those who have submitted a "Declaration Regarding Inability to Use the Japan Finance Corporation's 'National Education Loan'."
