For students entering Faculty of Intercultural Japanese Studies, Faculty of Modern Social Studies, and Faculty of Business Administration in 2025

  • If you do not complete payment of the admission fee, tuition fee, etc. by the due date for each entrance examination type, you will be considered to have declined admission.
  • All fees paid during the enrollment process (including enrollment fees, tuition fees, etc.) will not be refunded regardless of the reason.
    However, tuition fees, excluding the admission fee, will be refunded only if you submit the "Withdrawal Notice" designated by our university (can be sent by mail) by Monday, March 31, 2025. Please note that applications will be accepted at the counter until 17:00 (Sakura Shukugawa Campus) on Monday, March 31, 2025 (the "Withdrawal Notice" is posted on the entrance examination information page). In addition, transfers of tuition fees (including admission fees, tuition fees, etc.) between schools established by Otemae Educational Corporation will only be accepted within the entrance examination year in question.
  • Further information regarding payment of fall semester fees (tuition, etc.) will be provided in mid-October 2025.
  • Tuition amounts from the second year onwards may be revised depending on social conditions.
  • In the final year of the program, an additional 10,000 yen will be charged as a lifetime alumni association fee in addition to tuition fees.
  • From the fall semester of 2025, tuition fees will be paid only by direct debit in principle. Bank account registration is scheduled to begin in May 2025, and we will announce this on our university website and in the "School Announcements" section of el-Campus.

Important Notices Regarding Admission

In accordance with the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare's "Guidelines for the Prevention of Specific Infectious Diseases Concerning Measles" dated December 28, 2007 (partially revised February 3, 2016, effective April 1, 2016), our university asks all new students to do the following to prevent a measles outbreak on campus after enrollment.

  • Certificate of having received the required two measles vaccinations
  • Certificate of antibody test results by IgG-EIA method
  • If you are unable to receive vaccinations due to unavoidable circumstances such as illness or physical condition, please provide documentation (such as a doctor's certificate)

Faculty of Health and Nutrition

The following tests will be conducted as part of regular health checkups to understand your immunity to infectious diseases and to prevent infection.
When participating in off-campus training at a hospital or other facility, you will need to submit documentation indicating whether or not you have antibodies, so please be sure to undergo regular health checkups.

  • Antibody titer test (measles, rubella, chickenpox, mumps)
  • Antigen-antibody titer test (Hepatitis B)*For students enrolled in 2024 or later

Faculty of Global Nursing

The following tests will be conducted during regular health checkups to determine your immunity to infectious diseases and whether you have been infected. You will need to submit documentation regarding the presence or absence of antibodies when participating in clinical training at hospitals, etc., so please be sure to undergo regular health checkups.
