My specialty is Japanese history from the Sengoku period to the Edo period.
In particular, my main research subject is the Sengoku period daimyo Mori clan, who were based in Aki Province (Hiroshima Prefecture).
I also worked as a curator at a museum in Kochi Prefecture, so I am interested in and researching the Sengoku period daimyo Chosokabe clan and the Tosa clan.
