comment

My research focuses on the modernization of reproduction and health behavior in Southeast Asia (mainly Laos), focusing on women's everyday practices. I am also interested in maternal and child health of foreign residents, and the history and practices of midwifery.

Main publications and papers

Paper (co-authored): "Midwifery care during childbirth for foreign women in Japan and its current situation," Kobe City College of Nursing Bulletin 24, 2020.
Her publications include "6. Aspects of Reproductive Control in Laos: Introduction as a Women's Health Project" in Masako Kohama and Etsuko Matsuoka (eds.), Childbirth and Family Planning in Asia, Bensei Publishing, 2014.

We look forward to receiving requests to appear as a media commentator on industry-government-academia collaboration.
