comment
- I am researching haiku in the Edo period, particularly the Sho-style haiku advocated by Basho, focusing on the trends of his disciples, particularly Kikaku. In recent years, I have also become interested in the reception of Sho-style haiku during the revival period when Buson was active, as well as in letters written by haiku poets, and am working to decipher these documents.
