comment: I specialize in nursing (women's and maternal nursing), midwifery, and the related gender studies. In particular, I have pioneered nursing research into support for diverse sexualities, sexual minorities such as LGBTQ+, and SOGI (sexual orientation and gender identity), and am engaged in evidence-based social contribution activities both in Japan and overseas.
