comment

I am researching modern Japanese grammar. Currently, I am focusing on the words "yasui yasui" and "shi shi ni karu" that express ease and difficulty, and am researching whether they really express "difficulty" and if not, what they mean.

Main publications and papers

"The Meaning and Conditions of Yasui Nikui" Otemae University Review, No. 16, March 2016

"How to distinguish between "tsukai" and "zukai" to express difficulty: Analysis and consideration of survey results," Otemae University Review, No. 15, March 2015

"The Semantic Role of Noun Phrases in Determining the Meaning of Yasui and Nikui," Otemae University Review, No. 14, March 2014
