Open Practical Course

2025 "Study painting at university"

The 2025 public practical course will be divided into two courses, "Course A" and "Course B," and will focus on figure drawing. You can take both courses, or just Course A or Course B. We will provide thorough instruction starting from the basics, so even beginners can take the course with confidence.

  • 7 minutes walk from Hankyu "Shukugawa Station", Hanshin "Kohakuen Station" or JR "Sakura Shukugawa Station"
  • 2 minutes walk from Hanshin Bus "Morigu" stop
  • There is no parking space, so please refrain from coming by car.
subject Anyone aged 18 or over. Beginners welcome.

material Participants are to prepare (please bring the art materials you would like to use).
Any set of art materials such as oil paints, acrylics, watercolors, pastels, colored pencils, and drawing tools.
If you are using canvas, please bring it with you (approximately size 10).
You can use the easels and cartons that are provided in the art class.
Charcoal paper, drawing paper, watercolor paper, pastel paper, and charcoal can be purchased at cost in the classroom.

Notes

Once you have applied, Otemae City College office will send you an email or postal mail with information about tuition fees. Please transfer the tuition fees by the due date.
After confirming your payment, we will send you a "Certificate of Attendance" by mail in late April. Please present it in the classroom when you attend the open practical course.

  • Registration will close once capacity is reached.
  • The personal information provided at the time of application will not be used for any purpose other than course-related correspondence and various announcements from Otemae Educational Corporation.
  • If you cancel after payment, we will not refund your payment, regardless of the reason. If you cancel, please contact Otemae City College office before transferring the tuition fee.
  • There is no parking space, so please refrain from coming by car.
