In order to train nurses who can meet the needs of society, our school's Faculty of Global Nursing offers a joint class called "Nursing Unification" with a training hospital.
On this occasion, six nurses from the Higashiosaka Municipal Medical Center, where we are undergoing our clinical training, visited us and we collaborated in an educational session on intramuscular injections in Basic Nursing Techniques IV.

Unification is a word that means "unification" or "integration," but in nursing unification, it is an educational model in which clinical (hospital) and education (university) collaborate to train nurses. Japan's medical environment is changing rapidly due to factors such as the super-aging population and internationalization. In order to train nurses who can meet the needs of a diversifying society, we believe that educational collaboration with clinical facilities is important not only in clinical training but also within the university. We believe that nursing unification, which is a collaborative class with nurses working at the forefront of practice, can have a new educational effect as an opportunity for students to gain a deeper understanding of the basis of nursing.
Our faculty will continue to evolve this initiative, aiming to train nurses who can contribute to an increasingly diversifying society.
