[International Exchange] We signed an exchange agreement with Hebei Foreign Language Institute

On Wednesday, December 11, 2024, Otemae University (President: Mitsutoshi Hirano) signed a new exchange agreement with Hebei Foreign Language College of the People's Republic of China, with which it concluded a comprehensive exchange agreement in 2019. This agreement was reached to add a "special course" to the "undergraduate course" of Hebei Foreign Language College, which is the subject of the 2019 comprehensive agreement.
On the day, we welcomed President Sun Jianzhong of Hebei Foreign Language Institute and five other guests. In the morning, they visited Faculty of Global Nursing at the Osaka Campus and toured the facilities. In the afternoon, they moved to the Sakura Shukugawa Campus and had lunch with President Hirano and other faculty and staff at the student cafeteria, after which the signing ceremony for the agreement was held in the conference room. Next, they exchanged opinions on the specific contents of the agreement and cooperation with the Hebei Foreign Language Institute Junior High School (a high school in Japan). Finally, they watched an introductory video of Hebei Foreign Language Institute and received introductions to the four faculties at the Sakura Shukugawa Campus from Dean, deepening mutual understanding.
After the signing ceremony, the group exchanged gifts and took commemorative photographs before leaving the university.
This visit was a wonderful opportunity to further mutual understanding and strengthen the deepening collaboration between the two schools.
