The Sakura Shukugawa Campus held a Christmas party on Friday, December 6th from 6pm at E's Kitchen.

A total of about 100 people participated, including faculty members such as President Hirano and Vice-President Fukui, as well as international and Japanese students. The event began with a toast from President Hirano. Next, a group of volunteer students sang songs. As befitting a program hosted by International Exchange Center, three songs were performed: a Chinese song, an APT song in Korean and English, and a Japanese song called Tsumugu. Next was a bingo tournament. This year, many teachers donated gifts, and the event was very lively with a lineup of luxurious prizes. The next performance was a dance performance by international students. It was a performance that brought all 100 participants together as one.

After the meal, there was time for each table to socialize, and then the orchestra played Christmas songs. The heartwarming performance got everyone in the Christmas mood a little early. As the program drew to a close, tables competed in a game called "Let's make a Christmas tree as fast as we can." Participants made trees out of multiple paper cups, stuck a toothpick in the shape of a star on top, and competed against each other to complete the tree. All the participants were excited, and the excitement of the party was building.

At the end of the Christmas party, the participants exchanged the gifts they had brought. They passed their gifts around to the music, and when the music stopped, the one that was left in front of them was their present. The event lasted two hours, but there was so much planning going on that it flew by and it was a fun party.

We would like to thank all of the international exchange student staff (Team Colors) from our university who were involved in planning and running the event.
