[Open Lecture] November Lecture "The Expansion of Modern Cities: The Formation of Railroads, Suburban Residential Areas, and Industrial Areas" was held

The second half of the 2024 open lecture series will continue from the first half, with the main theme of "100 years of history in the Hanshin area," and will be the sequel to the first half.

第3回は、大手前大学非常勤講師の水田憲志氏による「近代都市の拡大－鉄道、郊外住宅地、工業地帯の形成－」をテーマとして、11月9日（土）に開催しました。

気持ちの良い秋晴れの空の下、100名近くの皆さまにお集まりいただき、1920年代から1930年代の大阪を中心とする鉄道、郊外住宅地、工場を今昔マップやＧＩＳ（地理情報システム）を用いての講演となりました。参加された受講者からは、大変分かりやすい内容であったとの好評をいただきました。
次回は、12月14日(土)名古屋市科学館 学芸員 藤本雅之氏による「神戸工場での日本初の蒸気機関車づくり」をテーマに講演を行います。
