[Faculty of Global Nursing] Community-based Healthcare Connecting the World: Talking about Diversity and the Future! Students from Faculty of Global Nursing participated in the conference

The 4th Academic Conference of the Japanese Society for Community Healthcare was held on Sunday, September 15th. This year, under the theme of "Leaving no one behind," the conference discussed inclusivity and fairness in diverse societies, including a symposium on sustainable community health care systems in India, Thailand, and Malaysia, and an educational lecture by Professor Hiromi Fujii, Dean Faculty of Global Nursing at our university, on "Preventing LGBTQ Suicide."
As a special event, "Come together! Asian students who will lead the future" was held, moderated by Professor Naoko Nishimura Faculty of Global Nursing at our university. Three students from Mahasarakham University in Thailand, two from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) in Malaysia, two from Chettinad College of Nursing Chettinad Academy for Research and Education in India, and one each from Hyogo University and our Faculty of Global Nursing gathered as student representatives. They gave presentations on the nursing curriculum in their own countries and spoke passionately about their future career plans.
