An online EITP (Evidence Implementation Training Program) seminar was held for clinical nurses over five days on July 11, 12, 18, 19, and 25, 2024. After taking the seminar, participants will practice evidence-based nursing in the clinical field and receive support from our university faculty members until they submit a report on their practice as an English paper.
This time, two nurses (Director nursing and the vice Director of education) from Mahosot Hospital in Laos, which is the training facility for the International Midwifery Training Program of Graduate School of Global Nursing Science participated. Despite their busy schedules, they attended early in the morning and listened attentively to the lecture. They learned about how to proceed with projects, leadership, and how to use evidence in order to implement measures to promote patient safety in the emergency room (ER).
This seminar, which welcomed its third class this year, aimed to utilize evidence to address clinical problems and issues and provide an opportunity to reconsider the importance of evidence.
The first batch of students are scheduled to present their work to date at an overseas academic conference this year.
We hope to continue our collaboration with clinical teams in the future.
