[International Exchange] We have accepted a short-term exchange student from Tzu Chi University of Science and Technology in Taiwan.

From June 5th to June 12th, we accepted seven international students and one supervising teacher from Tzu Chi University of Science and Technology, our partner university.

On the first day of the training, the students visited the Kobe Maritime Museum Kawasaki World and participated in a "Getting to know you" event with students from our university. On the second day, the students participated in classes at our university and participated in a "Cross-cultural Workshop" in which Taiwanese international students and students from our university explained the food culture of each other's countries. Then, with the cooperation of the tea ceremony club, they had a tea ceremony experience. They were nervous, but they enjoyed making tea and eating Japanese sweets. On the third day, Saturday, 10 Japanese students joined us and we all went sightseeing in Kyoto. We enjoyed walking around Yasaka Shrine, Chion-in Temple, Hanami-koji, and other places in yukata robes. On the fifth day, we had Japanese language classes, business classes, and an opportunity to interact with Chinese international students at our university. On the day before returning home, the students gave a 3-minute speech about what they learned and remembered through the training.

Our students also enjoyed interacting with international students from Taiwan, and the week was a great opportunity to come into contact with different cultures and deepen their understanding.
