Professor Imabuku received the Hyogo Prefecture Merit Award

Professor Akiyo Imabukuro (Design and Plastic Arts Major [Dyeing Crafts]) of Faculty of Architecture & Arts has been awarded the Hyogo Prefecture Meritorious Service Award (Academic Education Merit).

The Academic Educational Merit Award is given to those who have contributed to the reconstruction of Hyogo Prefecture, who are recognized as having made particularly outstanding achievements, and who should serve as role models for the people of the prefecture.

Professor Imabuku has been involved in education for over 30 years and currently teaches students as Dean Faculty of Architecture & Arts Otemae University.

The award was received by Otemae College President Yoko Fukui.
