[Faculty of Health and Nutrition] Wins Honorable Mention in "Happy Omusubi Contest"

The "Happy Omusubi Contest," sponsored by the National Association of Dietitian Facilities (with support from the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, NHK, etc.), is an invitation to submit photos of fond memories of eating "Omusubi" together, or unforgettable events, along with essays (in Japanese) about related stories.

A total of 600 applicants were received, and Akira Waseda, a second-year student Faculty of Health and Nutrition was selected as one of the 50 honorable mentions. She was presented with a commemorative gift from the association, and received words of congratulations from her teachers and friends.
