"COFFEE GATE NISHINOMIYA" is working to promote specialty coffee in Nishinomiya. The Department of Tourism Management Faculty of Modern Social Studies has been collaborating with the department for the past four years through the production of "OTEMAE TOURISM TIMES," an information magazine about the towns and people of the Hanshin area, which is an activity of Associate Professor Ebi Ryohei's seminar.

On February 1st, the event "Coffee Gate Nishinomiya Winter Sale" was held at the MUJI Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens store, and seminar students participated along with the exhibitors, Nishinomiya City, and the Nishinomiya Tourism Association. In addition to helping out with the event, we distributed the newly completed third issue of "OTEMAE TOURISM TIMES" to visitors to promote the event.

The event included a mobile tasting and sales event for coffee beans, drip bags, and coffee goods, as well as a tasting event for MUJI chocolates that go well with coffee for Valentine's Day, attracting many shoppers.

The latest issue of the magazine will be distributed at Hanshin Railway's Kohroen Station, Nishinomiya City Hall, and other locations. It also features special features on Kohroen and the Ashiya area, a report on the history of Kobe and coffee, and the latest topics in the Hanshin area. Be sure to pick up a copy!
