- Study Abroad and International Exchange
On Tuesday, January 14th, the Sakura Shukugawa Campus held the "Fall Semester International Exchange Points Certificate Award Ceremony" at the CELL Forum. This year, 26 university students and 2 junior college students received certificates.
At Otemae University and Otemae College, points are awarded to students according to their participation and contribution to international exchange, making them visible. Certificates are issued every semester, so university students have the opportunity to win up to eight times. To ensure that students always have a fresh attitude and to make the experience more rewarding, a step-up system has been adopted: the second time is awarded as a bronze award, the fourth time as a silver award, the sixth time as a gold award, and the eighth time as a platinum award. This year, 12 students received bronze awards, five received silver awards, and four received platinum awards.
The certificates were presented to each student by President, to which the students belong, and President. Many faculty and staff members also attended the award ceremony to support the students' hard work and offer their congratulations. We are very pleased to see that more and more students are taking an interest in international exchange, intercultural understanding, and interaction with international students, and that activities on campus are becoming more active. Next semester, we will continue to cooperate and collaborate with students to liven up international exchange on campus. Please look forward to it. (Source: International Exchange Center)
