On March 24, 2025, the results of the final judging of the Nippon Ham Food Future Foundation's 10th Food Allergy-Friendly Food Cooking Contest were announced, with Shina Tanaka, who graduated from Faculty of Health and Nutrition on March 19, winning the award with her "Mochitto Potato Pon De Ring."

Ms. Tanaka conducted her graduation research in Professor Yoshizawa Minako's Basic Nutrition Seminar on "The spread of egg allergens in the living environment and the development of egg-, milk-, and wheat-free recipes to address food allergies" and entered the contest.

This contest was held from July to October last year with the aim of spreading this experience and practice to a wider audience of people dealing with food allergies. A total of 417 entries were submitted in the meal and snack/dessert categories, and the winning entries will be published on a food allergy-friendly recipe search site (Nippon Ham Food Future Foundation) and are scheduled to appear in the June issue of the monthly magazine "Nutrition and Cooking" (Published by Japan Women's University of Nutrition).
We hope that Tanaka will use this experience to further her success as a registered dietitian.
