Completion ceremony held for Judy's West dormitory renovation project

On Monday, March 24th, a completion ceremony for the renovation of the lounge on the first floor of the Judy's West dormitory Otemae University Sakura Shukugawa Campus was held, with Chairperson of the Board Fukui and University President Hirano in attendance.

Judy's West dormitory is home to many international students, and in order to encourage interaction between residents, the traditional straight path from the entrance to each room has been changed to a mechanism that creates ripples that branch out and encourage spontaneous interactions.

At the completion ceremony, after a report from the contractor, the participants toured the construction site. In addition to its location in the wonderful residential environment of Shukugawa, the participants who toured the bright and stylishly renovated lounge envied the students, saying, "I want to live here starting tomorrow."

Our university will continue to strive to provide a comfortable environment for students.
