Sports x Communication x Cherry Blossom Viewing! Freshmen and seniors had fun together at the "Sakura Festival in Osaka"

On Saturday, April 5th, the "Sakura Festival in Osaka" was held as a "new student welcome event" to celebrate the start of new student life at Osaka University.

The event was divided into two parts. The first part took place in the multipurpose hall on campus, where the Global Circle organized the "Majority Game" and "Drawing Message Game." After a time filled with smiles and unique illustrations, the Sports Club organized a "mini athletic meet" where all the participants gave it their all in the "borrower race" and "dodgebee" games! The entire venue was filled with excitement.

In the second part, the venue moved to Osaka Castle Park, located across from the campus, where a cherry blossom viewing party was held. The new students were able to deepen their relationships with each other and their seniors and juniors while enjoying the cherry blossom viewing, which was a great opportunity for the new students to take their first steps into student life in a more enjoyable way.

The "Sakura Festival" is an event planned by senior students from extracurricular activity groups and Student Affairs Division to deepen the bonds between students and help new students start their university life in a fun way. Otemae University will continue to support students to deepen their connections with each other through events like this and to lead a fulfilling university life.
