In the 2024 academic year, seminar students majoring in Video and Animation at the Faculty of Architecture & Arts produced videos (two animated versions and one live-action version) to raise awareness of fire prevention in collaboration with the Nishinomiya City Fire Department.

The video that was produced has been published on the Nishinomiya City Fire Department website, and a completion report meeting was held at our university on April 17th.

First, Fire Commander Nakayama expressed his gratitude for the students' flexible ideas and new perspectives that had resulted in a finished work. Next, Assistant Fire Commander Kuroki, who played a central role in the production of the video, talked about how the video will be used in the future, including some anecdotes from the production process.

The students who produced the works commented, "It was the first time we had been commissioned to produce something for someone outside of our school, but we felt a sense of accomplishment when we finished it." A group that produced an animation work commented, "Because several students were responsible for drawing the characters, we were careful to ensure that the designs were consistent. We thought about the composition and how to convey the content in an easy-to-understand way."

Each video is approximately 40 seconds to 1 minute 25 seconds long, and promotes fire prevention for young children and the installation of residential fire alarms.
