[Open lecture] "Talking about 100 years of Nishinomiya" held in the first half of 2025

The main theme of the public lectures for the first half of 2025 will be "Talking about 100 years of Nishinomiya," and Lecturer from a variety of fields with ties to Nishinomiya City will give talks.
On Saturday, May 10th, Chairperson of the Board the Hakushika Memorial Sake Brewery Museum, a public interest foundation, gave a lecture on the theme of "Turn rice into laughter! ~Together with the land of Nishinomiya~".

On the day of the event, the rain from the previous day stopped and around 200 students participated.
During the lecture, he gave a fascinating and humorous talk about the history of sake brewing, including the Tatsuuma Honke Sake Brewery 100 years ago and the evolution of sake containers, as well as Miyamizu and Koki.

Participants commented that they were glad they had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of local history and other topics, and that they got to learn a part of sake brewing as a local industry in Nishinomiya.

The next seminar will be held on Saturday, June 14th, and will feature "Tracing Nishinomiya's 100 Years from a Bird's-Eye View," with Kazuko Tawaraya, Director of Nishinomiya City Local History Museum, as Lecturer.
