On June 7th, Institute of Global Nursing held a scoping review (ScR) seminar. ScR is a review method that aims to search for a wide range of literature on a specific topic and provide an overview of the current situation by focusing on major issues and results. On the day, a total of nine faculty members, two from our university and seven from outside the university, participated and deepened their understanding of practical methods of ScR based on their respective research themes. The JBI Otemae Implementation Center holds an ScR every year, and trainers certified by the JBI headquarters at the University of Adelaide in Australia are in charge of it. This seminar was conducted by Professor Nishimura and Associate Professor Toda, CSRT trainers at the JBI Otemae Implementation Center. Associate Professor passed the CSRT trainer qualification last year and is involved in various seminars related to JBI as the second trainer at our university.
Participants in the seminar gave positive feedback, saying, "It was good to learn specific literature search methods," and "I think it will be useful in my future research. I would definitely like to participate in the next CSRT seminar." A CSRT (Comprehensive Systematic Review Training) seminar will also be held at the Osaka campus in September. Going forward, we would like to continue to create various evidence materials and disseminate them to users around the world in order to promote evidence-based health care practice worldwide.
