[Open Lecture] "Talking about 100 years of Nishinomiya" to be held in the first half of 2025
2025.07.16
On Saturday, July 12th, the chief priest of Nishinomiya Shrine, Yoshiaki Yoshii, gave a lecture on the theme of "100 years of progress and expansion of Nishinomiya Shrine." Although it was a scorching hot day, over 170 people attended the lecture.
The lecture was very interesting and gave a real sense of the reach of Nishinomiya Shrine, covering the history of Nishinomiya Shrine as the head shrine of Ebisu Shrines across the country, its journey with Nishinomiya City as it celebrates its 100th anniversary as a city, and the distribution of the place name "Nishinomiya" and "Nishinomiya Shrines" throughout Japan as "Nishinomiya throughout the country."
In the first half of 2025, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Nishinomiya City's establishment, we will invite people with ties to Nishinomiya City as Lecturer with the main theme of "Talking about 100 years of Nishinomiya". In the second half of the year, we will invite Lecturer from various fields, including Professor from our university, to give lectures on the theme of "Culture, Literature, and History of the Hanshin Region".
