Otemae University and Otemae College held the "2025 ICT Mutual Exchange Training Seminar" on September 18th.

This training session was held in collaboration with Osaka Seikei University, Osaka Seikei Junior College, and Biwako Seikei Sport College, with the aim of promoting IR, DX, and mathematics, data science, and AI education by having faculty and staff from each university provide mutual guidance and advice on the results of their own university's efforts in these areas. After presentations by faculty and staff from each university and junior college on the status of their efforts, opinions were exchanged.

As examples of educational digital transformation initiatives at the university, in addition to the introduction of PROG, the report mentioned that el-Campus is being used to accumulate and visualize data such as learning records and interview records, and reflection is being conducted in compulsory classes in all faculties. It also mentioned that by using e-portfolios to visualize learning outcomes, students can continuously check their growth throughout the four years and recognize their own realizations and growth as text, and that faculty members can also use the data to provide guidance on study plans.

This training session was a valuable opportunity to hear a variety of opinions from other universities regarding curriculum organization and efforts to realize education using ICT, and we plan to continue holding this seminar in the future for the further development of our university.
