On Saturday, November 1st, Otemae University held its school festival, "Otemae Festa 2025," at its Osaka Otemae Campus, which is home to Faculty of Health and Nutrition and Faculty of Global Nursing!
There was a wide variety of experience programs, student projects, various exhibitions, seminar research, and even a guest live performance. The whole campus was filled with smiles and cheers throughout the day.

Various experience sessions (Faculty of Health and Nutrition)
The "Miso Making Experience" was a standard event themed on miso, which is closely related to the roots of Otemae Educational Corporation. Under the guidance of Professor Kamoto from Faculty of Health and Nutrition, participants kneaded ingredients and tried their hand at making their own miso! After the experience, participants enjoyed interacting with each other while tasting miso cookies.

The "Knife Sharpening Experience" was Lecturer by Mr. Tahara, a traditional craftsman from Sakai City, who gave thorough instruction from the very basics of knife sharpening, making it a very satisfying experience where participants were able to learn techniques that they can use at home.

Various Student-Planned Programs (Faculty of Global Nursing)
This year's first escape game, "Lift the Hospital Lockdown," was planned by students from the Global Circle. Building C of the Osaka Campus was transformed into a virtual hospital, and participants were tasked with solving puzzles to lift the lockdown. The serious expressions and smiles on the faces of the participants as they tackled the difficult puzzles made for an impressive program.

In the "Introduction to the Practical Lab by Student Staff from Faculty of Global Nursing," student staff conducted a tour of the practical facilities, allowing students to experience the latest equipment and learning environment up close.

Food stalls/stage events
In addition to standard menu items such as yakitori, frankfurters, and churros, the food stalls also featured original student creations such as "udon gyoza" and "potato galette!" Attracted by the fragrant aromas, there were long lines at each booth. "Delicious!" could be heard everywhere.

The final stage program of Otemae Festa kicked off with the first student performance since the multipurpose hall was renovated! Students captivated the audience with their guitar and singing and dancing. The guest live performance featured Kana Adachi, an artist who is also popular on social media! Her heart-warming voice and student singing brought the entire venue together in an emotional performance. Finally, the traditional bingo tournament, with luxurious prizes up for grabs, was a huge success! Filled with smiles and cheers, Otemae Festa 2025 came to a close on a high note.

This year's Otemae Festa was an event that highlighted the students' "first-time challenges." The appeal of Otemae University is that each student's "I want to try!" comes to life. Be sure to come and experience the Otemae Festa at next year's festival!
