Groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the new EX building (tentative name) Otemae Educational Corporation was held on Wednesday, November 12th.

Otemae Educational Corporation is currently in the process of applying to open a new faculty (tentatively named the Faculty of Information Science) in 2027. In conjunction with this, the university is preparing to expand the learning facilities at its Sakura Shukugawa Campus, and a groundbreaking ceremony for the expansion of the building was held on November 12th.
The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by approximately 60 people, including Nishinomiya City Deputy Mayor Toshio Iwasaki, and Masanori Mototsuji, Director of the Nishinomiya Chamber of Commerce and Industry's Small and Medium Enterprise Consultation Office, as well as representatives from Nikken Sekkei Co., Ltd., which was in charge of design and supervision, Nishimatsu Construction Co., Ltd., which was in charge of construction, and school officials. A Shinto priest from Susanoo Shrine (Gomen-cho, Nishinomiya City) was invited to officiate the ceremony, and he offered prayers for the safety and security of the new construction work.

7. Construction Overview Number of floors: Reinforced concrete structure, 1 basement floor, 3 above ground floors
Architecture area: 559.66 m2
